I decided to film a portion of a little Sunday drive we took, I also wanted to share the story that goes along with it. Sunday we were feeling restless,so my mom, brother, and I decided to go for a drive somewhere, not knowing where we’d go, but we’d take pictures along the way. We found some beautiful places, all was going well until… dun dun DUN. Our light broke. To some of you, a broken light may not mean much; but to us, it meant a lot. It meant repair and/or repurchasing a light during a time that it wasn’t easy to do. Also there were shoots this week so it just felt like the worst thing to have happen at that moment. From then on, we were upset, stressed out and wanted to get home asap. Suddenly my mom got this overwhelming feeling to turn into this area, a place we had been many times before, but I had never seen it like this before. There were layers of dandelion fluff everywhere, so thick it looked like snow coating the ground.
As we drove, it flew everywhere, creating this magical wonderland that gave all of us a new attitude the rest of the day. It lifted our spirits, it seemed to be a sign from God saying everything is going to be okay. We went home happy and relaxed, it was exactly what we needed in that moment. I believe God will show you your path, what you need, if you take the time to listen. I am just so thankful we listened that day. It will be alright, I just needed a change in perspective to see it.
